You Are What You Eat Think
Mindful Weight Management
In this ten week workshop, you experience a new approach to eating through a variety of mindful eating practices. Learn a way to eat that is more attuned to your body’s needs, experience the full pleasure and taste of food without overeating, and release the guilt and struggle so often associated with dieting. Group sessions employ mindfulness exercises, yoga, meditation, fitness activities and eating exercises. You also learn to make personal use of current, science-based nutrition. Activities are appropriate for all levels of fitness.
Program includes: 10 2-hour group sessions, manual, pedometer, meal planners, and progress journal.

Mindfulness-based
Cognitive Therapy
for Anxiety
This eight week workshop is for those who experience recurring bouts of anxiety or panic attacks. Learn step-by-step strategies for gaining awareness of anxious feelings without letting them escalate; loosening the grip of worry and fear; and achieving a new level of emotional and physical well-being. Through role-playing, simulated classroom, and client-practitioner encounters, you will learn to apply mindfulness practices. The workshop blends didactic, experiential, and small group learning, and includes daily meditations, yoga, and periods of silence.
Program includes: 8 2-hour group sessions, guided meditation CDs, course workbook, and written handouts.

Mindfulness-based
Cognitive Therapy
for Depression
This eight week workshop is an innovative group program designed to prevent relapse in people who have recovered from unipolar depression. Participants develop present-focus attention that engages the body, mind and heart in relating more effectively to patterns of thoughts, emotions, bodily sensations and habitual reactive behaviors that contribute to depression relapse. Through role-playing, simulated classroom, and client-practitioner encounters, you will learn to apply mindfulness practices. The workshop blends didactic, experiential, and small group learning, and includes daily meditations, yoga, and periods of silence.

Mindfulness for the Anxious Child
This is a workshop for children suffering from debilitating worries and anxiety. Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy for Children (MBCT-C) is an innovative program designed to help children manage anxiety and stress with care and compassion. MBCT-C combines the practice and clinical application of mindfulness meditation with the tools of cognitive therapy in a format that is child-friendly and engaging. MBCT-C can help children and adolescents become more aware of their thoughts, emotions and behaviors, enhance their social-emotional resiliency, and help them learn to make more skillful life choices.
